Missing 9-Year-Old Girl Featured On ‘Unsolved Mysteries’ Has Been Found.

Heather Unbehaun, who was accused of kidnapping her daughter from an Illinois suburb six years ago, has surrendered herself, bringing an end to a widely publicized case. Unbehaun is currently being held at the Kane County Adult Justice Center in Illinois, where she is facing abduction charges and has been denied bail.

Kayla Unbehaun was discovered unharmed in North Carolina and reunited with her father before she turned herself in. Heather Unbehaun was apprehended in North Carolina for kidnapping and child abduction, based on a warrant from Illinois. Initially, she was held on a $250,000 bond but was later released on bail after posting it on Tuesday, as confirmed by Samantha Booth, spokesperson for the Asheville Police Department.

Heather informed Kayla’s father, Ryan Iserka, that they were going camping after a parade in South Elgin, Illinois on July 4, 2017. However, they never came back. As a result, a felony warrant was issued for Heather’s arrest.

A major development occurred when a person in Asheville identified Kayla from the show “Unsolved Mysteries” on Netflix and informed the authorities.

Ryan Iserka expressed his gratitude to the police and his supporters for helping him reunite with Kayla. Heather Unbehaun is set to appear in court again on Wednesday morning at the Kane County Judicial Center.
